A Home for You, A Home for Them
Where finding your dream home helps another pet find theirs.
At Homes by Kathy Smith, “home” means more than having a set of keys. It is where family, love, and laughter live. And sometimes, that love comes from someone with four paws and a tail.
That is why I created the Free Dog With Every Home SoldSM program. It is my way of saying thank you to Clients while giving back to the animals who make our community whole.
Whether you are buying or selling in Charlotte, Fort Mill, Rock Hill, Matthews, Weddington, Indian Trail, Belmont, Cornelius, Huntersville or anywhere throughout the greater Charlotte area, this complimentary program helps support pet adoption, training, and local rescues at no extra cost to you.
How Does This Work?
When you buy or sell a home with me, you will have the opportunity to choose one of the following after closing:
Option 1: Pet Adoption or Training Support
Choose to have eligible adoption or training costs covered through one of the following community organizations:

Humane Society of Charlotte

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Care & Control Shelter

Charlotte Dog Training Club
Whether you are adopting a pet or enrolling in training, this option celebrates new beginnings for both you and your four legged friend.
Option 2: Donation in Your Name to an Animal Rescue
Prefer to support a cause close to your heart? I will make a donation in your name to a qualifying 501(c)(3) rescue organization, breed specific or all breed. You choose the rescue, and I will handle the rest.
Option 3: Decline Participation
Participation is completely voluntary.
This program never affects your transaction, representation, or financing. It does not increase your costs or reduce your proceeds. It is my way to say thank you for letting me be part of your home journey.

As a Realtor, I do more than help people find homes. I help build communities. For many of us, home feels complete only when it includes the animals we love.
The Free Dog With Every Home SoldSM program lets me give back in a way that reflects my values of compassion, community, and advocacy for rescue animals.
